The Last Church - by Graham Mc'Neil.
*Spoliers*
Well after reading lots of awful BL novles, Graham Mc'Neil has yet again installed stability in my Warhammer 40,000 enjoyment. (Or Horus Heresy in this case.)
Although it was a short story - but personally I prefer short stories - It gives a lot of infomation about the Emperor's plan on destroying religion. I like the back and forth confrontation on how Uriah and 'Revelation' see faith and religion. Also it goes far into the past, way to the Franc wars, meaning the Emperor was alive when these wars were raging, giving an indication on when the Emperor actually walked the Earth.
The only thing I disliked about it was that fact that soon as the man names himself 'Revelation' I straight away recognised this to be the Emperor but apart from that I see no major flaws with this SS.
My rating purely on the basis of that it involves one of my favourite aspects; Religion and the fact you actually get an account from the Emperor himself. I give this a 9 out of 10. - It would have been 10 out of 10 but seeing as how the name spoilt its suprise near the end, it got a minus 1.
Kudos to Graham Mc'Neil once more for another enjoyable read.
(Note: These are my opinions.)

I thought that 'Revelation' was either The Emperor or one of those people from LEgion, who can switch hosts and all that...
I also thought it was a great short story...

Just finished that one. I loved it. I figured that was the Emp. So far, I like all the stories in that book.
